Episode 10: Behind The Scenes

What you won’t be able to tell from your couch when you’re watching Episode 10, is that it was full of firsts. It was the very first episode we filmed – mostly because there are no guests except my Mum and Sophie, so there was less to arrange logistically, and it gave me a chance to get used to the kitchen and being on camera. I had a lot of thoughts about all the merry chaos behind the scenes at the time, which I wrote about here, and here.

It was also the first time that I met Chris’ thinking face.
His thinking face and I got to know each other pretty well over the next few weeks.

And the first time that I got to ‘fake type’ at my computer for what felt like hours.
Then I switched to writing random ramblings that I have stashed away and pull out when I need a laugh.

Episode 10 was also the setting for our very first kitchen conference (of many!) – carefully discussing past shots and planning future ones.
