I’m going cooking in the Karoo, and you’re invited too!

In the heart of the Karoo, lies the tranquil little town of Prince Albert, home to the African Relish boutique recreational cookery school. And that, fair friends, is where I’ve very kindly been invited to cook from the 28-30 June, during a weekend of food and fun. And you’re invited too!

Think slow, thoughtful, simple, honest food; well-loved kitchen gardens; like-minded epicurean adventurers; the stunning African Relish grounds, all set against the drama of the Karoo wilderness and you’re pretty much there.

I’ll be sharing a repertoire of simple, down-to-earth and close-to-the earth no-mess, no-fuss recipes, and will be joined by food and wine guru, well-loved raconteur, and one of South Africa’s culinary kings, Michael Olivier (there we are in the pic together). Michael will gallantly be keeping us watered with, well, exquisite wines, and will take part in some of the cooking too.

So, in short, beg, borrow, steal or Birthday-pressie your way in & join us! HERE are all the details.
