A Look Back at our January Women’s Wellness Brunch

Our second Women’s Wellness Event that we hosted in Pretoria on 27th January was such a special day! I hosted the event alongside my amazing nutritionist and wellness expert friend Jeanne van Zyl and we curated a morning that we hope will cultivate a lifestyle that promotes balance and inside-out beauty. We also shared quick tips and tricks on healthy eating that is actually attainable, as well as goodie bags packed full of goodness to help everyone on their way 🙂

Once again, we were overwhelmed by the response and the support with over 90 ladies attending, and it was such a happy, inspiring, insightful morning – thank you again so much to all of those who joined us, and to our amazing partners – we couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s a little more on each of our partners, who are all passionate about quality products that make living a healthy life that much simpler.

Nature’s Choice
Nature’s Choice is dedicated to supporting people in their journey to optimum wellness, through lifestyle education initiatives and the widespread distribution of superior, natural, wholesome, organic and bio‑friendly foods that are full of goodness.

The company was founded in 1985, and from humble beginnings they are presently Africa’s largest and South Africa’s leading health food distributor – with over 500 outlets & stockists throughout South Africa, Africa, and a growing number of trading partners overseas.

Lorna Jane
Jeanne and I were over the moon to be dressed by one of South Africa’s favourite activewear brands for the event, and we both love and support what Lorna Jane stands for. An award-winning Australian activewear label for women, we love that LJ is now available in South Africa, with their ethos of inspiring women to live the best life they can and to its full potential. Lorna Jane believes in the three-pillared philosophy of MOVE, NOURISH, BELIEVE and it is this mantra together with their clothing that encourages and motivates women globally to be the best they can be. Lorna Jane is not simply a clothing label, it is a way of life.

Skin Creamery
If we’re going to be eating well, I think that we should be thinking about beauty products that are full of goodness too (but that don’t break the bank), and there are some amazing options out there, many of them Proudly South African – one of my favourites being Skin Creamery. We were delighted to have Hannah and her beautiful products on board for our event.

Health Riot
You might already have read some of my recent blog posts about how much I love Cassava Flour – it’s by far my favourite gluten-free alternative to wheat flour, so it was a pleasure to have Valeska’s support all the way from Cape Town.

We are planning more events during the year, so check back soon for updates!
