Seam is originally from the DRC (with the lovely French accent to accompany the heritage). He’s lived in Cape Town for the last 10 years, and is passionate about the film industry. He has a really diverse and exciting skill set, filling free-lance roles in Cape Town ranging from Camera Assistant to Director, and he’s also really involved in the Black Fimmakers Festival.

I loved seeing how he could interpret the needs of our Director, Chris, and Second Camera, Farrell; how he so often knew what they needed before they even asked, and how he contributed quietly, calmly and thoughtfully to the seamless workflow on set. I have quite a few words to sum up Seam, but the ones at the top of my list are kind, contemplative, creative, and an epic out-the-box thinker – his career in TV will never be one dimensional, and I can’t wait to see where you end up! Also, hugest congrats, Seam got married to beautiful Laura just a few days after we wrapped shooting in Cape Town. Sending you only best wishes.

Says Seam “On Food Safari I was working as a camera assistant and my most amazing memory was walking with lions in Antelope Park/Zimbabwe. The scenery of the Zambezi river and the majestic Vic Falls will also always remain one of my fondest memories of this epic shoot.”
