We Won A SAFTA!

Imagine my happy (shocked!) surprise when on Friday night at the South African Film & TV Awards (SAFTAs) ‘Sarah Graham Cooks Cape Town’, produced with the legendary team at Okuhle Media in Cape Town, took home the golden statue for Best Variety Show. It was a completely surreal moment, shared by Rob (looking very dapper in his suit, and who fist-pumped like a champ when it was announced), and Minke, Liezel, Lufuno and Wilna from Okuhle (see image further below).

The timing of the award couldn’t be better as we now have confirmation that the show has sold in 32 countries worldwide, and we’re about to dive into making Season 2 (Sarah Graham’s Food Safari), which will air in the US and locally from about October onwards – after we film it that is, which is due to happen in June-July this year. So, lots of crazy-fun busyness going on, and thanks to you all for the well wishes and for being part of the journey!
