Summer Fruit Frescas



Cooks in:        Serves:6-8

  • ¼ melon, sliced
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • 1 plum, sliced
  • Handful of grapes (you can freeze them to make ‘grape ice cubes’ if you like)
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • ½ cucumber, shaved into ribbons using a vegetable peeler
  • Few leaves of mint and basil
  • 1 cup Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2-3 Tbsp orange or melon liqueur
  • ½ cup beer
  • Lots of ice, crushed

What to do

1. Add all of the ingredients to a large glass jug, mix together and adjust to taste if you like. Serve over crushed ice and some mint.
