Nespresso Caffè Venezia with Tiramisu
Ingredients
Cooks in: Serves:8
- 5 eggs
- 500gr (17oz) Mascarpone cheese
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- A package of “Savoiardi” biscuits, at least 200gr (7oz)
- 100gr Dark chocolate
What to do
1. Separate the yolk from the eggs whites. 2. Beat the yolks with the sugar until you reach a creamy and light coloured consistency. 3. Add the mascarpone cheese and keep mixing until it is homogenous. 4. Separately whip egg whites. 5. With a kitchen spatula slowly add the whipped egg whites to the first mix making sure you are stirring from the bottom to the top of the bowl. 6. Prepare a couple of cups (regular cups, not espresso) of coffee. 7. Add a little sugar and let it cool down. 8. In a single portion dessert cup (or you can make the tiramisu in a tray and then serve) make a layer of cream, then rapidly dip the biscuits in the coffee and make a layer on top of the cream. 9. Add grated chocolate and repeat until you have filled the cup or tray with a last layer of cream and grated chocolate. 10. Place in the fridge before serving. Photo Credit @Curtis Gallon
