Nourishing Wholegrain Breakfast Bowls


Hello friends! A new week means a new opportunity to eat delicious, wholesome food; and these nourishing Wholegrain Breakfast Bowls are packed full of goodness, and will give you such a happy start to the day.

Cooks in:        Serves:2

  • ½ cup Nature’s Choice quinoa⁠⁠
  • ½ cup Nature’s Choice rolled oats⁠⁠
  • 1 cup plant based milk⁠⁠
  • 1 tsp Nature’s Choice almond or peanut butter⁠⁠
  • 1 level tsp Nature’s Choice ground cinnamon⁠⁠
To Serve⁠⁠
  • 1 Tbsp Nature's Choice pea or rice protein powder ⁠⁠(optional)
  • Additional nut butter + mixed seeds + toasted nuts or Nature’s Choice granola of your choice + maple syrup + fresh berries⁠⁠

What to do

1. Add the porridge ingredients to a saucepan over medium heat, along with 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the grains are tender. ⁠⁠
2. Just before serving, stir through the protein powder (if using) and then serve topped with an extra swirl of nut butter, and other garnishes as suggested above. ⁠⁠
